Regarded as one of the best interior designers in the world, Kelly Wearstler is known for paying great attention to detail in her work as well as using colours in an adventurous way that result in one-of-a-kind spaces and objects. The American designer also provides textured and multiculturally referenced designs and makes sure to combine objects from different styles and eras, giving to the community the most iconic and versatile interior design projects and pieces. This is the case of her most recent wall mirror design, the Chardon Wall Mirror, inspired by a grand art movement, and it will be the focus of today’s article.
Kelly Wearstler pays homage to Cubism, a 20th Century art movement connected mostly to the development of paintings and sculptures, by designing the Chardon Mirror. This exceptional design highlights a graphic and asymmetrical shape, which is framed in deeply wire brushed and mitered solid oak.
This simple yet elegant design is available in Wearstler’s standard ebonized and natural wood finishes. It has 36cm of width and height and 2.25″ of depth.
