In collaboration with Studio Job, comprised of Job Smeets and Nynke Tynagel, the incredibly original Italian brand, Seletti created an astonishing family of objects, entitled BLOW, including a wide variety of wall mirror designs, which are characterized by a pop design character. The collection was first unveiled in 2017 and during Salone del Mobile 2018 it made quite a splashed due to its cultural and innovative appeal.
Best defined by its unconventional style, BLOW is one of the most interesting collections one has seen in quite some time. Studio Job’s extraordinary style and design merge perfectly with Seletti’s own design, resulting in a series of cutting-edge designs. Flash, Peace and Mouth are the iconic wall mirrors a part of this unique collection. These multicolored and frameless mirrors were all made from glass.
“There is nothing more liberating for a brand like Seletti than taking some precious art objects and transforming them into something accessible to everybody. It was a challenge for us to take the most interesting art producers in the design world and conceive with them a collection which accents the exclusivity of art and preserving accessibility at the same time. Job and Nynke were on board from the very first moment in this crazy adventure. Our goal is to let these new objects invade houses all around the world,” disclosed Stefano Seletti, the art director of the brand.
