The creation of this Maraya venue created a massive cultural and dynamic buzz around the Saudi Arabia, that expanded to the entire world. Due to its particular and eccentric features, this concert hall is an object of many speculations and mediatism. And to improve this on-going buzz, they organized a festival to celebrate it!

Winter at Tantora was the name of this famous festival that was organized by the community of Al-Ula. This event occurred from December 2018 to February 2019, where there was a large spectrum of activities for everyone. Between a celebration of the winter planting season, there were weekly cultural events and musical performances at the incredible Maraya.

In Maraya, at the world famous Winter at Tantora, there were incredible performers such as Andrea Bocelli, Yanni and many other incredible artists. There was a purpose built concert hall that was beautifully wrapped in a mirrored façade. It had also two sides covered by reflective panels, with views of the incredible desert, through the amazing sand and mountains.

This amazing venue is the incredible idea of the Milan based studio Giò Forma, in partnership with black engineering Dwc-Llc. This is an incredible space with a massive theater, and an interactive exhibition, with kinetic artwork by Leva-Todo, which means that a lot of companies came together to built this amazing venue. Maraya is just one of the most incredible things you’ll ever see!
