Wall Mirrors came across an interactive art exhibition by Liz West that is simply stunning. The “our colour reflection” was placed at the Perspective Playground in Berlin and is comprised of 765 colored, acrylic mirrors that project fifteen colors throughout the space. The mirrors are elevated at varied heights to create a myriad of elegant colors that are reflected in the ceiling.

The artist specialized in light installation, sculpture and public art, describes her work as a way to connect with visitors on a “physical, emotional, psychological, or even spiritual” level. Each person will have a different experience and state of mind when visiting the exhibition.
One astonishing feat of this exhibition is that due to the mirrors’ reflections, there is an emphasis on the stunning architectural features of the space which would otherwise probably be ignored.
The mirrors’ diameter can vary between 30, 40, 50, or 60 centimeters.
By creating light and dynamic environments, such as this one, Liz West is able to heighten sensory awareness and explores the effects of these altered ambiances have on individuals when it comes to psychological and physical responses.
