Maison et Objet 2018 will be the ultimate lifestyle platform for industry professionals and design aficionados to discover new trends and expressions in a wide variety of sectors. Set to return to Paris Nord Villepinte, from 19-23 January 2018, the world’s most beloved trade show promises to deliver a creative business atmosphere full of uniqueness.
MAISON&OBJET PARIS now offers a clearer perspective of three main areas: MAISON and its wide range of interior decoration, organised into different worlds; OBJET, the show’s concept store, ideal for retailers; and finally INFLUENCES and its unique itinerary. A new offer that has been created to facilitate communication and the unearthing of new products.
MAISON&OBJET PARIS’ brand new campaign was imagined by Parisian graphic design studio Be-Pôles, asserting the trade show’s visual identity using a colour gradient.
As tradition dictates, the prestigious venue has already named the designer of the year, the extremely versatile Dutch designer, Cecilie Manz.
The designer is always experimenting and come January, she will present her latest accomplishments. The exhibition will feature existing products and new designs, displayed in a warm and homey atmosphere, a theme that is evidently delineated in her creations.
Vincent Grégoire from the renowned Agency NellyRodi is set to design the Inspirations Space and the Bookshop-Café following this year’s theme, SHOW-ROOM.
In addition, the Rising Talent Award has already been announced, having Federica Biasi, Antonio Facco, Marco Lavit Nicora, Kensaku Oshiro, Federico Peri and Guglielmo Poletti as the six Italian designers that will be distinguished at the event. Each one was nominated by an influential personality of the industry, Andrea Branzi, Giulio Cappellini, Rosita Missoni, Piero Lissoni, Luca Nichetto, and Rossana Orlandi, respectively.
Every year, visitors can expect a showcase of high-quality international offers. As a whole, the multicultural platform of contemporary living provides a source of exclusive and forward-looking information to help understand and foresee market trends, so it’s definitely a trade show you don’t want to miss!
