Their main focus establishes on the concentration of the best of design through the greatest designers, makers, and luxury brands, in one large event. June is bringing summer and a lot of new and exciting things with it, but the most incredible part is definitely the of anticipated event of the month that’s dedicated to luxury design – The Luxury Design & Craftsmanship Summit. With an astounding success on the first edition in 2018, this summit is back on for a second edition! Their main focus is to demonstrate creative and specific ideas from the luxury and design industries that stand out for their craftsmanship.

Pavilhão Multiusos in Oporto, will be the main stage of this event, where design, luxury and craftsmanship will be celebrated by every luxury design aficionado. Designers, makers, thinkers and creative minds will also stand together in this one place, where art and design are flowing throughout the days. During this event you can expect:

Besides all the incredible things every attendee will get to discover, you will also get to see a set of amazing arts and crafts in a live showcase. Through this unique and meticulous showcase, there will be a number of master artisans that will show you their greatest craft! From ceramic painting, working filigree, metal working or tapestry, if you attend this event you will be able to see how these arts are done.

In its first edition, in 2018, the Summit presented design brands on these panels, such as Luís Onofre (designer of luxury shoes and accessories and President of APICCAPS), the Michaelangelo Foundation (an international non-profit entity that celebrates and preserves master craftsmanship), Vista Alegre (porcelain factory in the Iberian Peninsula), Topázio (a Portuguese company that’s expert in the creation of unique designed hand-carved silver), Boca do Lobo (a Portuguese brand of furniture-art design recognized for its unique and innovative design always hand-worked), and many others.

Only exciting things are going to happen, and this year they chose incredible names on the design industry such as the renowned Designer Nini Andrade Silva, Ana Maria Vasconcelos from Belcinto, Conceição Amaral from FRESS, Carlos Coelho from Portugal Genial, Luis Pedro Martins representing the organization Turismo do Porto e Norte in a capacity of Chairman; writer Rita Sambado and journalist Marina Almeida. As far as International guests and speakers go, Covet Group included Diana Anghel, from the Institut National Métiers d’Art of France; Khaoula from Assouline and Christian Haas, which is one of the most renowned Master Artisans in the world. Top luxury brands like Swarovski, Lamborghini andBentley will also be present!
