Being a part of the Brass Ensemble Collection from Ghidini 1961, the aesthetically crafted Kaleidos Mirror designed by Campana Brothers was awarded the Most Coveted Mirror at the first ever Coveted Awards which were presented at the January edition of Maison et Objet 2017. The majestic and awe-inspiring Kaleidos Mirror is the first collaboration of the dynamic duo, composed of Fernando and Humberto Campana with Italian-based design company, Ghidini 1961. The latter displayed new contemporary pieces of furniture of the 2016 Brass Ensemble Collection that included a wide variety of finishes, from polished steel to black lacquer, to rose gold and copper bronze.
In terms of Kaleidos’ characteristics, Fernadon Campana disclosed that “the piece is composed of six hinged mirror blades. The brass base and gilded mirrors create a kaleidoscope of golden tones and reflections. The piece can be used as a lamp as it is backlit.”

Humberto Campana goes on to disclose, “It will be a mirror with the possibility of different sizes and colors. A geometric piece that can produce various designs. We were inspired by Lygia Clark’s Bicho critter sculptures”.
